How to Capture a Screenshot on a Samsung Galaxy A22
1. Screenshot of the Galaxy A22 – Hardware Keys
The physical keys on the phone’s side are the first option for taking a screenshot on your Galaxy A22. This is the most common traditional method.
Grab your phone and simultaneously press the power and volume down buttons. Hold down the keys until the screen flashes white. This means that a screenshot was taken. After the screen flashes white, a small menu bar will appear at the bottom of the screen. On the menu, there will be three buttons. You can crop and edit the image using the first button. The second button activates Scroll Capture, and the third button shares the image on social media.
2. Screenshot of the Galaxy A22 – Palm Swipe to Capture
“Palm Swipe to Capture” on your Galaxy A22 can help if the first method doesn’t work for you because there are broken buttons or something else. This is Samsung’s solution, and it does not necessitate the use of any hardware buttons.
Palm Swipe can be enabled by navigating to Settings -> Advanced Features -> Motions and Gestures. There will be a Palm swipe to capture option. It is turned off by default. To enable it, tap on it. To take a screenshot, swipe your hand across the screen. When the task is completed, the phone will vibrate to indicate that it has been completed.
3. Screenshot of the Galaxy A22 – Assistant Menu
Try Assistant Menu if you want something a little easier to work with. If all of your Galaxy A22’s hardware keys are broken and nothing else works, this is your last option.
To enable the Assistant Menu, navigate to Settings > Accessibility > Interaction and dexterity and select the Assistant menu. There will be a small circle appearing. Tap on the circle to begin. A number of options will be displayed. Select Screenshots. The screen of your mobile will flash white that means that the screenshot has been captured.
These are some methods for taking screenshots on the Samsung Galaxy A22. It’s thoughtful of Samsung to include a few software features for taking screenshots when the hardware buttons are broken. Do you have any other methods for capturing a screen? Please leave a comment below.
