What colour should my eero’s light be?

Inspect your Ethernet Cables
Even if you are certain that nothing has interfered with your cabling setup, it is not a bad idea to try the following. Unplug and re-plug all network cables from your eero and other devices, such as your fibre router, network hub, or switch.
A bad connection on a single pin on an Ethernet cable can sometimes be enough to cause a bad connection with the rest of your network, causing your eero to doubt the stability of its connection. Simply press in the retaining clip of your eero Ethernet cable, pull it out until the Ethernet connection light goes out, then plug it back in and press until you feel the retaining clip click back into place.
If it doesn’t click in, or if the retaining clip has broken off, you should replace replace your Ethernet cable and see if that resolves the issue.
Is Your Internet Service Provider Experiencing Upstream Problems?
If you’ve ever spent a long time troubleshooting a bad internet connection only to discover that there was a service outage while you were trying to fix things, we feel your pain! Use the App
A network reset is often just what the doctor ordered, and you can perform one by using the eero app on your smartphone. If you haven’t already, now is an excellent time to do so, as long as you have internet access (which we hope you do!).
To reset your eero, follow these steps:
- Launch the eero app on your mobile device.
- Navigate to the Settings menu.
- Locate and open the Advanced settings.
- Choose Reset.
- Choose Restart Network.
You will lose connection during this process, but it will re-establish itself after a minute or two.
Carry Out A Soft Reset
The network configurations are deleted in this scenario, but your specific settings are kept, and Eero remains connected to the network.
When you notice a flashing yellow light, hold down the reset button for 10 seconds and then release it. You will notice a solid White Light once it has completed its reset.
Carry out a factory reset
Hold the reset button pressed for 15 seconds, or until the LED turns red, and then release. After a successful hard reset, the eero LED light will glow blue, indicating that it is ready to be set up anew.

How can I reset my eero?
Resetting your eero, like any other router, is an effective troubleshooting step. For those who are unfamiliar with resetting an eero, we recommend following simple procedures such as disconnecting it, waiting 30 seconds, and plugging it back in before initiating a reset.
Users of the first-generation eero (and those who now own a second-generation eero) can reset the device by either pressing the reset button on the bottom (eero) or tapping the small reset button on the back.
On the left side of the beacon is a reset button. Kindly follow the procedures outlined below. Before resetting your eero, make sure it has been powered on for 45 seconds.
Troubleshooting Connection Issues with eero 6 or eero Pro 6
eero 6 and Pro 6 may be unable to connect networks due to outdated drivers and software. Here are a few instances of networks that will be unable to connect:
Connection issues with Intel® Wireless Adapters for Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) routers and access points with 802.11ac wireless adapters
This criterion-compliant device may be able to identify and join wireless 6 networks, but it will not be able to detect your network. To fix this problem, it is recommended that you update your device’s driver as soon as possible.
The problem may be temporarily resolved by switching to Eero’s Legacy mode. Simply launch the Eero app, choose Legacy Mode, and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Tap the Settings button in the bottom right corner of the eero app.

- Turn on Legacy Mode.
